This was my first time using a mobile grooming service. Paulette was very punctual, communicated updates on arrival etc., friendly. I have a very anxious dog & can react when feet & butt are touched. Groomer did not have any restraining devices (cone, muzzle etc,) but was patient & understanding with my dog & able to complete the grooming service. She did a great job cutting my Australian Labradoodle. The reason I did not give 5 stars was because I felt that the groomer did not give my dog time to get used to a new person being at my house. On my Profile, I listed my dog’s quirks/issues/anxieties; & I felt like none of that information was read by the groomer. (Or maybe I did not explain things clearly enough?) I understand that the groomers need to manage their time & be able to get to other appointments, but with anxious dogs, I think a few more minutes should be allowed for a dog to adjust. Also, I had hoped the groomer would have reviewed with me what I had stated in the Profile.

I have a very sweet golden retriever 6 month old but he growled when she immediately took out the nail grinder even though I told her in advance that this was his first experience. She immediately brought him back and said she can’t handle him. In fact, he’s so scared of his nails being done since then that the vet has to do it. I should be suing her for traumatizing my dog. She was supposed to be a professional groomer. I expect groomers to be able to handle dogs. She should leave this profession
